Contributed to a major modernisation programme replacing parts of a legacy .NET 4.0 and PHP estate with modern .NET services structured around a CQRS pattern. Resolved payment defects and supported migration from Stripe to GoCardless with close attention to mandate state, idempotency and reconciliation, using AKS, Service Bus and Durable Functions.

Developed a proof of concept to replace a paper-heavy marine permit process with a digital, auditable workflow, combining a React interface with TypeScript microservices on AWS EKS and Lambda. Integrated Microsoft Dynamics CRM and introduced Kafka topics to decouple case events, delivering on schedule and within the agreed cost envelope.
